Advanced renewable power system with automatic routing, batteries, solar, wind, and smart generator backup.
FULL HOW-TO GUIDE
- Place the Energy Routing Controller — this is the brain of your entire power system. Put it inside or right next to your base.
- Build at least one power source: Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, or Hydraulic Turbine (must be placed in moving water).
- Place one or more Battery Banks to store power.
- Connect everything with Energy Cables (right-click the controller → “Connect Device” or use the cable tool).
- Turn on the Controller and open its menu to see real-time power status, storage levels, and device groups.
- Vanilla generators now act as automatic backup — they only turn on when your batteries are low.
Tip: Group your devices (lights, fridges, machines) in the controller menu so power is prioritized correctly.
Repair real-world power plants and substations to bring electricity and water back to entire regions.
FULL HOW-TO GUIDE
- Wait for the vanilla power & water shutoff (usually day 30–60).
- Travel to the Louisville Power Plant first (it must be repaired before anything else works).
- Right-click any control panel at the facility to see what needs repairing.
- Gather the exact parts and tools listed (Electrical skill and Welding skill required).
- Repair every component one by one.
- Once all parts are fixed, start the facility from the main control panel and defend it from the huge zombie horde it attracts.
- After it’s online, the entire zone gets power and water again.
Facilities slowly degrade over time — you must go back and maintain them or they will fail again.
Amputate a bitten limb to survive the Knox Infection.
FULL HOW-TO GUIDE
- As soon as you get bitten, run to a safe room and barricade the door.
- Have a Saw or Garden Saw ready.
- Right-click the Saw in your inventory → choose the bitten limb to amputate (or drag the saw directly onto the red wound in the Health panel).
- Have bandages, stitches, and a tourniquet ready — the mod will automatically use them to increase survival chance.
- After amputation, keep the wound clean and bandaged until it heals.
- Later you can craft or find prosthetic limbs.
Warning: Amputating an upper arm means you can never equip a prosthetic on that side.

Turn crops into alcohol, ethanol, and finally biofuel for generators.
FULL HOW-TO GUIDE (Step-by-Step)
- Build or find a Press → make mash from corn, potatoes, wheat, etc.
- Put mash into a Fermentation Barrel + add yeast → wait 48 in-game hours.
- Move fermented liquid to the Still + add fuel and light a fire → distill for 6 hours.
- Re-distill the alcohol to make pure Ethanol.
- Put Ethanol in an Industrial Tank + add sunflower/olive oil from your inventory → refine into Biofuel.
- Use the Biofuel exactly like regular gas in generators.
Craft your own fuel pumps anywhere on the map.
FULL HOW-TO GUIDE
- Check the sandbox settings for exact crafting cost (usually high Metalworking + Mechanics skill).
- Craft the Buildable Fuel Pump at a workbench.
- Place it anywhere you want (inside base, near farm, etc.).
- It works exactly like vanilla gas pumps — fill jerry cans or vehicles from it.
