Relentless Dawn Discord Rules

Last updated 09/05/2026

1

Respect and Conduct

Treat every member with basic respect. This community is meant to be welcoming for all players.

  • No harassment, bullying, discrimination, or personal attacks
  • No language targeting someone’s identity, background, appearance, or personal characteristics
  • Disagreements are fine — personal insults, pile-ons, and bad-faith arguing are not
  • If a conversation turns toxic, stop or take it to staff via a ticket instead of escalating in public
2

Appropriate Content

Keep content suitable for a general audience. Strictly prohibited in public channels:

  • Sexually explicit or NSFW content (text, images, links, or voice)
  • Graphic gore or intentionally disturbing material beyond normal game discussion
  • Political discussion, debate, or campaigning
  • Content posted mainly to provoke arguments, rage-bait, or disrupt the community
3

Advertising and Promotion

Do not advertise or self-promote without prior staff approval. This includes:

  • Other Discord servers or game communities
  • Social media accounts, streams, or channels (unless staff has approved a listing)
  • Products, services, paid content, or external platforms

If you stream on Relentless Dawn and want to be listed, open a ticket — don’t spam links in chat.

4

Staff Interaction and Compliance

Staff keep the community running. Cooperate with them.

  • Use tickets or designated support channels for help — do not mass-ping, spam DMs, or pressure staff or the owner for support
  • Do not argue staff decisions in public channels; if you disagree, open a ticket calmly
  • Do not try to evade mutes, bans, or other moderation actions
  • All staff decisions are final unless leadership reopens the case
5

Language, Channels & Communication

English is required in all public Discord channels (text and voice). Staff must be able to moderate and help everyone fairly.

  • Keep topics in the correct channel (e.g. tickets for support, LFG for groups)
  • Private DMs between consenting members may use any language; public spaces stay English
  • Excessive caps, spam, or flooding channels is not allowed
6

Malicious Behavior and Impersonation

These may result in an immediate ban:

  • Scamming, phishing, malware, or sharing harmful links
  • Attempting to exploit Discord, bots, or other members
  • Impersonating members, staff, streamers, or public figures
7

Enforcement

Rules are enforced at staff discretion based on severity, history, and context. Playing dumb about a clearly posted rule will not reduce the penalty.

Typical progression: 1st = warning · 2nd = 24-hour ban · 3rd = permanent ban. Severe cases may skip steps. Appeals: ban appeal form.

This is a PvE server

Be nice and work together. Relentless Dawn is built for cooperative survival — not trolling, griefing, or causing problems for other players. If you want a server that accepts that kind of behavior, there are many others; we are not one of them.

1

Theft, Player Property & Base Protection

Relentless Dawn is pure PvE. Other players’ progress is off-limits. When in doubt, do not take it — open a ticket instead.

Theft includes (but is not limited to):

  • Taking items from another player’s base, safehouse, crates, freezers, or any container they clearly use
  • Taking, moving, hotwiring, or using another player’s vehicle without clear permission
  • Stealing engine parts (or other components) from a claimed vehicle — instant ban
  • Looting bodies, bags, or stashes that belong to another player (e.g. marked, claimed, or near their base)
  • “Borrowing” tools, weapons, generators, or resources and not returning them
  • Claiming something was “abandoned” without staff confirmation

Structures & access:

  • Base raiding, forced entry, dismantling walls/doors, or destroying player-built structures is banned
  • Breaking windows on other players’ safehouses or vehicles will result in staff action
  • If a house, vehicle, or stash looks player-owned but is not officially claimed (e.g. AVCS), do not take anything — screenshot it, create a ticket, and wait for staff
  • Permission must come from the owner (or staff). “They weren’t online” is not permission

Violations can mean item removal, rollbacks where possible, and bans. Report theft with screenshots/video when you can.

2

Building and Basing

Build in residential / appropriate areas. Non-residential bases need staff approval first.

  • For non-residential buildings: open a ticket with a screenshot and get approval before claiming or heavily fortifying
  • Do not block public roads, bridges, or major pathways with walls or vehicles

Strictly prohibited base locations:

  • Military locations
  • Police stations
  • Fire departments
  • Gas stations
  • Any other high-loot area staff would reasonably consider contested public loot
3

Looting and World Interaction

Keep loot fair for everyone on a long-term world.

  • Do not destroy lootable containers (cabinets, crates, etc.) to deny others or force odd behavior
  • Loot cycling — removing items only to force faster respawns — is not allowed
  • High-loot areas (military, police, fire dept., etc.) are shared public loot; don’t camp them exclusively or burn them out
4

Exploits and Fair Play

Play the game as intended. No exploits, glitches, dupe methods, or unintended mechanics that give an unfair advantage.

  • If you find a bug, report it to staff — do not abuse it
  • Using a bug “just once” is still a violation
5

Griefing and Disruption

Anything that deliberately ruins another player’s experience is banned, including:

  • Blocking access to bases, roads, or common pathways
  • Intentionally luring or dumping zombies onto another player’s base
  • Harassment, trolling, or following someone to annoy them
  • Breaking windows on other players’ safehouses or vehicles
  • Wasting community resources or sabotaging shared builds without agreement
6

Vehicle Limit

  • Maximum vehicles per player: 5
  • Maximum vehicles per faction: 15

Extras may be removed by staff. Claim and park responsibly.

7

Vehicle Salvaging

If you strip a vehicle of its engine parts, tires, batteries, doors, or other valuable components, you are expected to salvage the entire vehicle afterward.

  • Do not strip a vehicle and leave the empty carcass on the side of the road or elsewhere on the map
  • Abandoned stripped wrecks prevent new vehicles from spawning and make the world look messy
  • If you take the time to strip a vehicle, finish the job and fully salvage it

Do not strip or salvage vehicles with interiors. Interiors do not respawn. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Prison buses
  • RVs
  • Bushmasters
  • Any other vehicle with a functional interior space
8

Conduct, Language & Behavior

English is required in public in-game chat (global, local, radio, etc.) so staff can moderate and players can cooperate. Private party/faction voice between consenting players may use any language.

  • Offensive or inappropriate usernames are prohibited and may result in a ban
  • Use of slurs will result in a ban
  • Targeted harassment of any player will result in a ban
  • Same respect standard as Discord applies in-game
9

Burning High-Loot Areas

Using fire to burn down a high-loot building or area in order to enter, clear, or deny loot to others will result in consequences (up to and including a ban). Report accidental fires; don’t farm them on purpose.

10

Ban Policy

Staff enforce rules based on severity, history, and context. Standard progression for typical infractions:

  • 1st infraction — Warning
  • 2nd infraction — 24-hour ban
  • 3rd infraction — Permanent ban

Serious offenses (e.g. stealing engine parts from a claimed vehicle, major theft, severe griefing, or clear bad-faith trolling) may skip steps and result in an immediate longer or permanent ban at staff discretion.

You may appeal a ban here: Ban appeal form

Full details and live updates are also pinned in Discord.

1st = warning · 2nd = 24h ban · 3rd = permanent ban. Severe cases may skip steps.
